    Very impressed

Posted by George Cerniglia on 29th Dec 2025

I had the original barrel threaded by a gunsmith and after approximately 30 rounds the suppressor flew down range. When the slide went forward it snapped the barrel at the threads. I have not shot this replacement yet but have noticed somethings that are well worth mentioning. The replacement barrel wall is thicker which makes for a much tighter fitment in the slide, there is no slop or wiggle. The treading is also longer for the adapter conne tion and the distance from the end of the slide to the connector is about an 1/8 inch, just a guess, so that the slide will not hit the adapter. All in all the barrel looks extremely well made, great fit!

    Honest Review Pt. 1

Posted by Drox on 19th Dec 2025

I took this puppy to the range and paired it with the Rugged Occulus 22 in the small configuration (3.25”/4.3 oz), w/ 240 rds of 40g FN ammo. The first 89 rds I had 4 FTFs, and the slide was out of battery on the follow up/second shot several times. After the 150 rd suggested break in I didn’t have any failures on the remaining 150 rds Then I added the Occulus and again the issues were stove piping, failure to eject. I ran out of time and didn’t bring enough ammo to continue testing but it started running better after about 80 rds. I’m not sure if it was the barrel, the can, the ammo or my mag causing issues… Overall, I really do like the barrel. Several years ago when Ruger first released their 57 model, the barrel was half as much as the gun. I didn’t jump on it, but I came across EFK and it was out of stock for a long time. I was very impressed with the craftsmanship quality of the build, but I’m sad about the inconsistency. I’m gonna get a couple hundred more rounds through it hopefully over the next few days

It fits right in with no problem. Shot it yesterday and it preformed with no problem. Ready to get a suppressor next year when the tax stamp is $0.

    Ruger 5.7 threaded barrel

Posted by Jon L on 3rd Aug 2025

This barrel is just Beautiful , Perfect in every way I did not shoot yet I’m restricted to suppressor only where i live so I’ll have to wait to go to range to shoot the 150 rounds they want for break in But I’m so happy with my purchase and I’m so glad I didn’t go with the factory threaded barrel for what i would have paid for a factory barrel this was a no brainer ! EFK did a great job !!! Now my Ruger looks even better ! Thanks again EFK

Beautiful design and look. Functions very well. I didn't have to modify it at all even though I was expecting to. Dropped in and fit perfectly. Love it.
