Industry standard is 150 rounds to break in a barrel before threading any device on to the barrel.

Awesome 9MM Conversion!
I've had a USP40 many years, although rarely shoot due to my preference towards 9MM. I received my EFK Fire Dragon conversion barrel in polished stainless steel recently, and was very impressed with the precision craftsmanship. The exterior is beautifully finished, as well as the bore, rifling, and crowning. I took to the range today and was equally impressed with the accuracy and performance. The gun performed flawlessly using various types of 9MM ammo. I also was able to use my 40S&W magazines with 9MM without any feeding or ejection issues. I highly recommend this barrel if you have a USP40. For a very reasonable price, I essentially have a USP 9 in addition to my 40S&W. Great product, fast shipping, and accommodating purchasing process for those that live in CA.
